Canyon of Giants
Adding a human element to a landscape photograph can layer in a sense of scale that you wouldn’t be able to appreciate otherwise. I snapped this candid shot while on a photography tour in Antelope Canyon, Arizona. If you squint a little, you’ll notice that the canyon wall looks like a giant face that seems to be towering over the photographer. The walls are formed from years of floodwater gushing through the canyon, but I love to use my imagination and create a story with all the hidden shapes.
